TeacherUp is what the Teacher Pipeline Project grew into. Run by Upward Scholars and formally launched in January 2023 after a transition period spent listening to students and community partners, TeacherUp supports adult immigrant students from low-income households studying early childhood education.
What students receive
- Tutoring and academic support
- Financial assistance and stipends for program time outside academic classes
- Laptops, food vouchers, and transportation assistance
